Nick Maynard

Nick Maynard is a Senior Vice President for Commonwealth, with over 15 years of experience in the field of financial security. Nick is an unbiased expert on workplace financial benefits, with a particular depth in workplace emergency savings innovation; he also has experience with the retirement and payroll ecosystems roles in building employee financial wellness. Nick has led partnerships for Commonwealth with large corporate partners like ADP, Voya, AutoNation, The Fresh Market, GXO, Truist, and SoFi, among others; demonstration pilots with these partners have reached millions of workers living on low-to-moderate incomes and generated billions in small dollar savings. He has also successfully led large scale financial security impact at Walmart, Staples, and H&R Block in the areas of prize-linked savings, gamification, and tax-time savings, respectively. Nick has recently been an invited speaker at Human Resources Executive, the PLANSPONSOR National Conference, and the ISCEBS Employee Benefits Symposium; he has also penned pieces for Employee Benefits News, PlanAdvisor magazine, and BenefitsPro. Prior to joining Commonwealth, Nick spent almost a decade of experience providing customer, market, and operational strategy (“stratecution”) consulting to Fortune 1000 executives while at Deloitte Consulting and Braxton Associates. Nick holds both a Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard University. He also holds a Bachelors of Engineering and Operations Research from Princeton University.
