David Kibbe is a Senior Innovation Manager at Commonwealth where he researches and implements financial security and wealth building solutions to benefit Americans living on low to moderate incomes. Prior to joining Commonwealth, David worked for the City Council of Columbus, Ohio where he helped lead the city’s financial empowerment efforts, including the launch of the Columbus Financial Empowerment Center to provide free, professional, one-on-one financial counseling to residents as a public service. David graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Development and minors in Urban Studies and Computer Science. Out of the office, he enjoys biking, board games, ultimate frisbee, soccer, and hiking—feel free to ask him about any birds he’s seen lately.
