To add to existing research on the link between student loans and employee financial well-being, Commonwealth, with the support of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, surveyed more than 600 working Americans with incomes between $30,000 and $75,000. A growing number of employers are offering student loan repayment assistance as a benefit to their employees to alleviate the student debt burden, and recent policies present new opportunities to do so.
