The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and Commonwealth Host 4th Savings Innovation Convening
Note: This event is invitation only. Contact us to request an invitation
Commonwealth and the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston are hosting a convening focused on opportunities to build financial security, focusing on employer relationships. Building on our past three convenings that covered emergency savings, integrated product design, and applications of big data and AI to address savings challenges, this convening will prioritize employees as a specific market segment.
According to recent data from the Federal Reserve, 4 in 10 adults faced with an unexpected expense of just $400 would either not be able to cover it or would cover it by selling something or borrowing money. Employees, within your own institution as well as those in other parts of the workforce, are not immune to the challenge of emergency savings. There is a growing demand for solutions that speak easily and directly to the needs of this population that financial institutions are well-positioned to address.
- Discuss the benefits of innovative employee financial security products for all stakeholders - financial institutions, employers, as well as their employees
- Highlight local institutions and products that are successfully meeting the needs of employees
- Conduct an interactive working session to develop tools that will help financial institutions take action
Who Should Attend:
This event is tailored for leaders of financial institutions. Product leads and retail-banking decision makers would be best suited to attend. Representatives from human resources are also welcome to attend.
Date: Wednesday, December 19, 2018 | 9:30am to 1:30pm (Lunch will be provided)
