Brian Gilmore is a Vice President at Commonwealth, where he focuses on the broad adoption of financial innovations to address challenges faced by people living on low and moderate incomes. Brian works to scale these innovations through partnerships with the financial services industry, policymakers, employers, and nonprofits, with the goal of making wealth possible for everyone. He also engages in cross-organizational efforts around funding, project development, and organizational finances in support of Commonwealth’s mission. Prior to Commonwealth, Brian spent a decade at forward-thinking organizations tackling a variety of social challenges including access to public benefits, youth education, and financial security. He has Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Drexel University. When not working, you’ll find him biking around the city, at local music venues, and trying to get better at pinball.
